Position Summary
Are you ready for your next challenges?
As a Category Production Planner, you will build production plans, collaborate with Market Planners, provide information on labor requirements, identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to cross-functional planning activities in the largest food and beverages company.

A day in the life of Category Production Planner
Build production plans respecting the agreed level of available capacity to ensure that finished and semi-finished goods are available with high freshness, at the right stock location to meet customer demand whilst minimizing cost (optimize service at the best E2E cost)
Establishes an 18 month production plan for the factories within the scope of responsibility (including sub/contracting and/or co-manufacturing where relevant) ensuring continuous product availability in all Receiving locations
Collaborate with Receiving Market Planners to set Finished Goods stock policies, periodically reviewing levels and resolving deviations.
Provides information on labour requirements through Committed Capacity
Regularly challenge manufacturing for lot sizes, cycle times, and inventory levels, aiming for optimal Finished Goods inventory levels.
Identifies possible opportunities and improvements in collaboration with the factory
Coordinates AVC Consolidation, volume Forecast Affiliates and is SPOC for Market Controlling
Contribute to cross functional planning activities such as MPR according to Best Practice.
Actively supports the Strategic Volume Planning process (i.e. Capex Planning) by providing capacity simulations, scenario planning and contingency proposals
What will make you successful?
Ideally, you are a proactive person with strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking who has university degree in relevant field and 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
You have strong communication skills and a willingness to work in a international team environment.
You have excellent knowledge of English language, both written and spoken.
You are advanced user of MS Office package.
