Salary: $213,876/year to $240,240/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Duties:
Design core, backend software components. Code using primarily C/C++, Java, PHP and Hack. Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa. Conduct design and code reviews. Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources. Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently without guidance. Proactively identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, and/or systems.
Requirements:
Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Experience must include 24 months involving the following:
- C, C++, C#, or Java;
- Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Mercurial, GIT, or Perforce);
- Building highly-scalable performant solutions; and
- Designing scalable distributed systems with established partition tolerance, consistency, and availability guarantees.
