Role Overview :
A great opportunity for a Collections Manager to join our Revenue Department. This position is primarily responsible for the accurate and timely collections of the Company’s Accounts Receivable.
Responsibilities:
Manager is responsible for accurate and timely collection of receivables for up to four subsidiaries.
Train, maintain and direct the work of an effective collections team.
Manage two Collections Analyst and maintain employee morale.
Foster cooperative working relationships with customers, coworkers, and senior management.
Implement effective collections processes including utilization of automated processes available in Salesforce.
Develop, measure and report performance measures (KPIs) for credit, collections, and AR.
Resolve customer discrepancies and short payments in a timely manner that maintains customer satisfaction.
Monitor and maintain assigned accounts, customer calls, account adjustments, write offs, customer reconciliations and credit memos.
Communicate & follow up effectively and timely with sales department regarding customer accounts.
Meet defined department goals, activity and KPI metrics.
Assist Billing, Sales, and accounting departments to resolve billing related issues.
Minimize bad debt exposure.
Develop and improve collection process and procedures, make recommendations, and implement for efficiency.
Develop with Finance leadership team reliable metrics and reporting.
Performs other assigned tasks and duties in support of the Revenue, Finance & Accounting department.
About You:
4+ years accounting experience
Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting, or Business related field
Experience with multiple entity and international corporate structure
Must be able to consistently meet or beat deadlines.
Strong experience in O365 applications, multiple ERP’s
Team player and proven ability to work cross functionally.
High attention to detail and desire for continuous improvement
Strong verbal and written communication skills and a professional attitude and demeanor working with the internal team.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively, manage multiple projects, and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
