We are looking for a Systems Engineer in support of missile system development located in Huntsville, AL!

Description:This effort will support the development of the follow-on system to the Minuteman Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) system and committed to supporting our nation's continued ability to provide safe, reliable and credible strategic nuclear deterrence. Systems Engineers must report, track, and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate; and provide an exceptional customer experience while maintaining correct processes and procedures. Job duties include:

• Extensive knowledge of systems engineering principles and methodologies
• Proven success architecting, designing, and implementing quality system solutions
• Thorough experience in all phases of system lifecycle including requirements gathering, functional analysis and decomposition, detailed design, manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and disposition
• Experience in implementing validation and verification methodologies that ensure system requirements have been fulfilled
• Widespread integration experience involving complex software, electrical and mechanical systems across various domains
• Demonstrate success in leading and managing cross-functional engineering teams and subcontractors from project inception through completion
• Provide Project Life Cycle Support, Design Verification, Electrical Design, and Process Engineering Services
• Detail oriented engineer with experience supporting various engineering and operational environments.
• Highly motivated with a strong dedication to teamwork and project oriented success.

Requirements/Desired Capabilities:

• Bachelors and 7-years' experience or Master's and 3-years' experience.
• Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or comparable level of experience.
• Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
• Excellent cognitive, communications, and interpersonal skills required.
• US citizenship required
• Experience with all MS Office applications required
• The ability to multi-task and work in a team environment is essential.
• Work is accomplished in a multi-company team environment with customer participation.
• Knowledge in system development and analyses systems and tools is required.
• System or sub-system test experience is a plus where automated test system results and data are synthesized and reviewed against performance expectations.
• The ability to develop solutions to a wide range of complex technical problems, requiring ingenuity and innovation is necessary.
