What you'll do:

Lead the work on system administration activities for CAD/PLM solutions including change management, upgrades, testing, user feedback, and day-to-day operational activities. Develop and execute strategies for PLM and CAD system functionality implementation. Create and/or revise engineering drawings and solids models following engineering standard practices and procedures. Produce mechanical engineering documentation such as component drawings, assembly drawings, and installation drawings.Generate engineering bills and verify information. Assist with design for standardization and cost reductions by establishing new ideas and concepts for fabrication and assembly. Support assembly and fabrication as needed to insure smooth implementation of design changes. Create and maintain engineering standard and work instructions.Design and deploy configuration for Teamcenter, NX and Capital (SaaS/On-Premise), Data Model (BMIDE), Business Logic (ACls, Organization, Workflows), User Interface (Stylesheets, Preference, Queries), NX/Capital options, preferences, and best practices. Work closely with engineering departments to understand processes, improve efficiency and help create effect business process solutions. Coordinate with external consultants to provide additional Teamcenter and NX support.Provide end-user support and mentoring. Provide user account setup and maintenance.

What you need to be successful:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, any engineering field, or a foreign equivalent. Qualified applicants must have three years of experience as CAD/PLM Engineer, or a substantially similar position, performing the following progressively duties: Providing configuration and support of CAD systems; Coordinating with engineering users to set-up CAD and PLM custom environment, validating the environment for its correctness and resolving issues; Ensuring proper maintenance and regular updates of CAD and PLM packages and deploying them in user environments; Monitoring, configuring, and administering CAD and PLM applications; Performing Blackbox testing, validating, and maintaining CAD and PLM environments as per user requirements; utilizing TeamCenter and CAD. Teleworking is permitted 50% of the time.
