Role Summary

 

As the Lead Workday Advanced Compensation Analyst, you will be the subject matter expert responsible for overseeing and managing the configuration of our compensation management processes within the Workday platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing leadership and guidance, to ensure the effective implementation of our compensation strategies. Your expertise in Workday Compensation configuration will drive the success of our organization's compensation initiatives.

Responsibilities

 

Advanced Configuration: Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced compensation configurations in the Workday system, ensuring that compensation plans align with organizational objectives and industry best practices.

Program Design: Collaborate with HR and Compensation teams to design, develop, and refine compensation programs that support talent retention, market competitiveness, and business goals.

Quality Assurance: Oversee and support testing and quality assurance efforts, ensuring that configurations are accurately developed and properly migrated from tenant to tenant.

Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to assess the effectiveness of compensation programs, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of compensation configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure consistency and transparency. Ensure that SOX processes are followed and appropriately documented.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to HR, Compensation, and management teams on compensation-related processes, policies, and tools within Workday.

Integration: Collaborate with IT and HRIS teams to ensure seamless integration of compensation systems and processes with other HR and finance systems.

Vendor Relationships: Manage relationships with Workday support and other vendors to resolve technical issues and enhance system capabilities.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Workday releases, industry trends, and best practices, and make recommendations for enhancements to compensation processes.

Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

5+ years experience as a Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation Analyst implementing configurations for organizations of all sizes, of increasing complexity levels.

5+ years experience in gathering requirements, designing, prototype, and testing Workday Compensation and

Advanced Compensation solutions according to business requirements.

Knowledge of merit, bonus, and stock plan configuration. Initiation and administration of a compensation review process.

Experience with compensation transactional data, pay for performance, calculation tables, custom reporting, compensation grid configuration, and calculated field configuration.

In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and regulations.

Proficiency in using Workday's advanced compensation modules.
